25 days worth of workouts in and it’s good.
I thought my body would be a puddle of jello when I finally got back to my weightlifting class, it wasn’t so bad.
I was tired and not able to do the full count of many of the sets but, it was ever so slightly better the first day I started.
I could breathe, what a pleasant surprise. 😉
Not going to lie, I was extra tired the next day. I have come to believe that I did not have an average head cold that lasted a week but an exposure to mold while gutting out a camper we recently bought.
I found the water leak and , in my frustration at finding it, I just pulled it out and vacuumed it up.
Umm, no surprise, STUPID STUPID STUPID.
The next day I was sick, it waxed and waned over the next 7 full days.
On the very end of it yesterday, (with a hankie over my mouth most of the time) not a real mask but, better than nothing… (sigh, I am sorry for my own stupid self￼ today) I popped back into the camper to finish sanding the walls and vacuum up that mess.
I was immediately congested again and have started coughing.
A bleach disinfection will be happening before I go back in!!
At any rate, I’ve managed to loose 12 pounds so far 🎉
My clothes are fitting better, the person I see in the mirror is smiling more and even though there is no stopping the March of time, I’m ok with her.
My weightlifting class kicked by behind, quite literally. 😂😂
I’ll be back though.
The benefits are outweighing the cost and the return is worth the sweat!
