Weightlifting tonight!

I have started asking my friends to come to class with me and I may look a little like this. 😉

I’m starting to really like my weightlifting class 🙂 tonight to start the new month we did a new circuit.

We did jump roping, skaters, pike pressing, planking, sumo squats weights for arms and legs and four different variations of an ab work out as we worked our way through the rotations.

Tonight I learned that I definitely need to practice my candle sticks and my frog sit-ups. Also, I’m not great at jump roping…

Towards the end of class my transition between the different workouts amounted to a weeble wooble roll from the floor.

But I did it, we did it!!! I kept going (even though I was pretty sure that I wasn’t going to be able to get back up off the floor and might, indeed, stay there until I died, which wouldn’t be a very long wait.) and I made it to the end with out actually dying.

I had an exhausting, exhilarating hour and I’d do it again tomorrow if it was offered!

I’m trying the new exercises from today, tomorrow and I am hoping the variation will keep my body from seizing up!
